Anyone have someone in mind for the job?
I heard the name Todd Raleigh brought up on another thread, is that realistic? Would he even consider the job, if WCU wanted him? Is there a SoCon head coach that would fit into Cullowhee? or should we look into the WCU coaching tree for our next HC?

There are 3 great WCU guys out there and all would love the job and Western. Pretty good friends with each and would support all of them. Dont quote me on this and not betting man (poker doesnt count) but probably good idea of order. Be in good shape with either.
Maybe 2 or long shots that cant see happening

I think Alan Beck would be a great HC. I'm sure he's one of the folks 32 is talking about.

Jason Beverlin is an obvious candidate. Successful HC experience at Bethune Cookman. Currently pitching coach at Coastal Carolina.

A fine candidate, but I’m not sure you leave a program that won the whole thing recently. And there’s the ever present issue of whether he would be getting enough of a pay increase to justify jumping off that train. That program is a monster now. (Just ask Clemson).

Actually makes more already than Mo did Beverlin's current salary is $120k Moranda - $113,652

Jeff Sziksai is in his 17th year as the head coach of the Lincoln Memorial University baseball program. During his tenure, the Railsplitters have amassed over 400 victories and become a perennial contender in the South Atlantic Conference and NCAA Division II Southeast Region.

Think Sziksai stepped down a year or two ago

Think Sziksai stepped down a year or two ago True. He is the AD at a HS in the same town as Lincoln Memorial.
