Another huge difference is simply the transfer portal itself and the rules in place now. I know everybody knows that, but it would be interesting to see across all of football what percentage of QBs that didn't get playing time enter the portal from all schools - having 5 seems like a whole lot, but when 2 guys got all the snaps and are coming back, and the staff has already gone after a couple of more QBs for this next signing class, it is absolutely no surprise. That doesn't seem like a WCU or Coach Bell issue, that is a college football issue.

I agree where someone commented that our starting QB for next year is probably not on the roster at the moment. I also disagree that Carlos is the answer if we want to win 8 or 9 games. He makes TOO many mistakes! He throws TOO many interceptions. He doesn't keep his cool! Keep in mind he is basically a senior, so these are not mistakes that maturity will correct. Cole is much cooler headed....period! If he makes a mistake he gets over it. totally agree here with you. Way too many interceptions and Carlos got hurt in the GA Tech game when he was smack talking with the defensive backs and linebackers and got popped for it. |

But with being injured almost half of this season, not sure who is going to take a chance on him with only one year left. |
