Looks like we still have a shot at the crown!!! OK - so we have to sweep UNC-G, and UNC-G must take 2 of 3 from Mercer. If they sweep Mercer, we would tie the Girls record, but we would have the tie breaker - I think. That seems to me the only scenario. Highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened.  Go Cats! |

75, I believe you are the biggest optimist I have ever encountered.
With our pitching, we will be lucky to win one against Greensboro. 13-11 will put us in the 4-5-6 jumble for tournament seedings. And we will lose the tie-breaker against Furman.
BTW, are you planning to be in Athens on Wednesday?

I just mentioned on the Pride board I may come up since I'll be working in the area tomorrow. Down side is I haven't had dinner with the bride for a couple of days (book club last night  ) and we'll be on the SEC network on TV. Easy to watch from home. I'll call or text you if I'm going to be there. This will be my 3rd or 4th visit to a UGA game in the last 10 years. |

Im gonna say the standings dont change after this week. I think the only team really want to avoid is Furman because of the "home field".
