The reality is this, I consider myself one of the Top 10% of donors for the Catamount Club. I love the school and want to help. We spend all year pushing to get alumni, especially those who haven't been to a game since they graduated, to come to Cullowhee to get involved. They come in from all over the country, and we put a product on the field that is a glorified high school team with a middle school defense. How come in every game, it is our players with the Unsportsmanlike penalities, bone headed plays, lack of focus or discipline etc. I virtually called every play viewing the game that The CItadel was running today. How can our defense not have anymore discipline than that. Ray Charles and Ronnie Millsap would have better gap integrity against the triple option than we have. It gets old, week after week. They never get any better and then the big weeks, Homecoming, Parents Day, etc., we lay a collosal egg. It is OK to lose, no problem, but why do we always look like the Bad New Bears out there on days you think they are possibly turning the corner. I gave my seats away today to get someone to come to the game and bought other seats to give them my passes. What I get after the game," That is a horrible football team, tell me again why I should give money to put deck chairs on the Titanic." I had no answer. True story.

Citadel had 3 starters out including QB? Starting QB with very few snaps?? The Citadel's starting QB and RB were suspended for the game. El Cid started a kid with no starts this season and utilized two running backs that had only had two snaps a peace this year. Our defense made them look like pro-bowlers. The Bulldogs defense has not been on of the better defensive units in the SoCon this year, however, they shut down our "highly vaulted" offense. If the coaching staff had any self-respect, they turned in their resignations to the AD tonight. Seems to me, all they've done is season is draw a paycheck, no coaching has been going on in Cullowhee. The lack of discipline on this team can be traced directly to the head coach. It's been this way for seven seasons, he will not take action against players, or rid himself of poor assistants. Had the AD not stepped in two years ago, we'd still have the DC that was fired, second thoughts, we might be better off with him.

I'll tell you this, I am not one of the top 10% donors to the Catamount Club, but I am a regular donor and season ticket holder. I made a decision last week after the Mercer game, to reduce my yearly donations by 75 to 90% next year. I will then utilize those dollars or other worthwhile charities and my church. I see no reason to invest in WCU athletics when the admin and the folks in the white building will not step up to make the program competitive and hire a staff that produce competitive teams. I will continue to purchase season tickets, but will attend less games, I'm just sick and tired of yearly hopeful start of each season that the program has turned the corner that never happens. I stayed home today and watched today on ESPN, I'll do the same for the next two games, at least I'm not having to make that long drive home, pissed off with how poor the Catamounts played, and how they found a new way to lose another game.

Where is FlCatamount to say the team is going to get better the next two games and how i see improvement since the beginning of the year? The team is a joke plain and simple. Coaches need to be fired. If Mark is not going to fall on the sword and quit then he needs to get to firing some coaches but of course we all know he won't

Dennis Wagner has Briar Cliff at 6-4. Maybe our staff should call him this week vs Satterfield.

If you ever wondered why many SoCon fans refer to the Cats as the Can'tamounts, now you know.

You guys are being too hard on the coaches, just look what they have accomplished this season for other teams, they turned around the season for the Samford, Furman, Mercer, and the Citadel (too bad the bulldogs from Charleston played us so late in the season), making each team look great on offense and good on defense.
