I'm not sure, but he sounds concerned to me... what do you think?
The pressure is on those Travelers Rest boys... (That stuff about Furman being from Greenville, SC is bull@#$%, what they have is a Greenville SC post office address, but Furman is located smack dab in the middle of the city limits of the town of Travelers Rest, SC) -Fack checked for accuracy!!!!

I think he is concerned, but he will have his team as ready as possible and will have some wrinkles for us to deal with. They are a veteran team and they will give us everything that they can to beat us. I do not expect a blowout. They deserve our respect. I think we will win. Also, as everyone knows, he is not above having his team fake injuries to slow us down and make sure they have the right personnel in the game for whatever down and distance we are in. I wish we did not have to worry about that but Coach Hendrix has proven game after game that he is not above doing that. I still think it is very wrong to teach players it’s ok to cheat. No matter what they do though, it will not matter.

They also got flagged at the Samford game for clapping and trying to create false starts when Samford had the ball. I wonder how many times he has coached that this year. I agree, not things a coach with integrity should teach his players. I hope we see none of that or fake injuries tomorrow.

They were called for it and got a penalty. That is something that is coached. Players are not going to do that on their own. I guess some coaches do that because they have no scruples or integrity. We all want to win, but winning by cheating is never good and it teaches those young men on FUrman’s team that cheating in life is OK as long as you win. Funny, the fans on the Furman board have blinders pn and deny that their coach does these things, but just watch the game and you see fake injuries and the defense trying to mimic the snap count. They know but do not want to admit that their coach is less than honest when it comes to cheating. It’s denial.

I totally expect them to try those things and if they are not flagged for it, will do it all game long.

I made the same comment earlier - WCU doesn’t really try to go fast, and in today’s game the rules have been changed that if the offense subs a guy in the ref stands there and doesn’t allow the ball to be snapped before the defense can also sub. “Soccer moments” will not be part of this game IMO.

I am glad alot of you are so sure about a win tomorrow as i am super nervous about a win. We can win for sure but the lack of defense in the UTC still plays in the back of my mind going into this game. Furman is good so all respect to how well they have played this year. We have played well too and we can out score them but we need to jump out ahead by at least 2 scores before they even notice. If we run well against them we will be ok but i worry about how healthy is desmond really and FU has a great D line. I know i can not reflect on the past where we looked like we were on the rise before falling in big games as Bell is more prepared going in and also making in game changes but still Furman makes me nervous just like UTC did 2 weeks ago
