I am glad alot of you are so sure about a win tomorrow as i am super nervous about a win. We can win for sure but the lack of defense in the UTC still plays in the back of my mind going into this game. Furman is good so all respect to how well they have played this year. We have played well too and we can out score them but we need to jump out ahead by at least 2 scores before they even notice. If we run well against them we will be ok but i worry about how healthy is desmond really and FU has a great D line. I know i can not reflect on the past where we looked like we were on the rise before falling in big games as Bell is more prepared going in and also making in game changes but still Furman makes me nervous just like UTC did 2 weeks ago Don’t worry. We are going to be OK. We will not lose and if we do by some chance, the sun will come up on Sunday morning. We may not score first and we may even fall behind. We just need to keep the faith because this team is made up of tough men who never quit. I have seen it all year. Chat matched up well against us and Furman match up well also. I believe these men are built different and will play hard and make us all proud. We Winn this game we will be Conference champ even if we lose a game in our last 4, but when we win this, I doubt we lose another. GO CATS!!!

I made the same comment earlier - WCU doesn’t really try to go fast, and in today’s game the rules have been changed that if the offense subs a guy in the ref stands there and doesn’t allow the ball to be snapped before the defense can also sub. “Soccer moments” will not be part of this game IMO. I hear what you are saying, but they will not fake an injury when we sub. They will fake an injury when we don’t sub and we try to go fast. It was 42 times in 2017 during the rain and I am not exaggerating. That is low class and egregious.

Of course we all are nervous. The long time diehard fans from the Waters days are especially nervous. But a thought, maybe just maybe, we have already beat the best team (Chatty) we will face this year in the SoCon on their home field.....maybe, just maybe!!!!
Go Cats!

Do you think there will be enough students to tear down the goal posts and carry them to the Chancellors front lawn?

Do you think there will be enough students to tear down the goal posts and carry them to the Chancellors front lawn? I hope so! At least a field storming

No but i also just looked at tickets and it looks like no major moves in ticket sales , at least online, in a few days. There are quite a few tickets left. I really wish we could have reached standing room only for this game

Win or lose I expect 12-13k next week regardless. Win and we might see that standing room only for homecoming as a top-5 team.

You know. I guess the Bells are pretty good judges of QB talent. I should have never doubted them.
