Not that it matters, but Gonzalez came from Trinity Catholic high school, which Kerwin Bell was their first football coach and won a state championship in the early 2000s. So that is also a connection. That being said, I think Cole showed that he is more than capable.
As for Cornett, I agree that was a beautiful ball that rivals Carlos’ arm.

Solid Offensive okay today and the defense looked cleaner!
Man, I could only imagine the stats Carlos would’ve put up, but man! Let’s GATA against Samford next week!!

I totally agree with you on Cornett as to being very impressed. He is something special. That long pass was as perfect as it gets.
I so hope to see him make lots of plays.

It was hard to tell on the TV coverage - how was the crowd? I don’t think I heard what the announced attendance was.
