Would love it if more playoff games for the FCS made ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. These playoff games are much better than the "Stan's General Store Admiral Bowl"

I think the quarterfinals are on 12/8 - 12/9. The first bowl game isn’t until 12/16 (I think this year the Myrtle Beach Bowl has the distinction of being first with an 11:00 AM kick). There is really no reason why the FCS playoffs shouldn’t be on the general cable stations, but I don’t think any of the networks paid for the rights other than the Championship game. We’ll probably be fed awful early-season basketball instead.

Furman looked strong against UTC while Mercer was a lamb at slaughter. The Montana St/NDSU game looked like a thriller. NDSU has MSU's number in the playoffs where they are 5-0. I plan on watching that game on ESPN+ replay later this week. I was a little surprised by the Richmond/Albany score, Richmond got dominated. But there have been questions about how strong Richmond really was going into the playoffs. I'll continue to pull for the SoCon but honestly, I'll be holding my nose while pulling for Furman.

I think Montana will dominate Furman.

I think I posted this in one of the other threads, but yes Montana backs out in their away games. They had 6 home games this season, have 7 next season, and because they backed out of our game in Cullowhee at least according to the scheduling sites they still need to find another game for 2025 (only 10 games listed). You guessed it - if they would have kept their trip to NC they would have only had 6 home games, so I assume they pickup a garbage team to play at home in that spot and play 7 of 11 at home. That would be nice.
But it is smart on their part - they want to have at least 6 home games every year no matter what.
